NYS DOT has approved a  a speed reduction from the Camp Kingsley road to NY Rt 26

in the Town of Ava  The speed will be reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph.  The

Sheriff's dept and the State Police have been advised the the speed change. 

The Planning Board will not hold their regular monthly meeting  on

Wednesday Jan 1, 2025 since it is New Years Day. 

The regular monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, Jan 8, 2025

The Town of Ava Planning Board in conjunction with the Tug Hill Commission is working

on revising and updating our Comprehensive Plan.  The Planning Board is looking for feedback

and is asking residents to join us at our next meeting.  The meeting will be held on

Wednesday, Nov 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 11468 State Rt 26, Ava, NY 13303

The Town of Ava has scheduled their Clean-Up day for

Saturday, Sept 28,2024  8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The April 22, 2024, ZBA meeting is canceled.  No other meeting is scheduled

for April at this time.  The next regular meeting will be held

on July 22, 2024.

The ZBA of Ava will not be holding monthly meetings.  The regular meeting schedule will be:

the 4th Monday of January, April, July and Oct.   Any additional meetings will be posted.

All meetings will be at theTown Hall at 11468  State Rt 26, Ava,NY.  They will be held at 7:00.

The Town Board of Ava is currently seeking applicants for open positions

on the Planning Board, ZBA Board and Board of Review.

Anyone interested in these positions may pick up an

application at the Town Clerk office, during regular business hours.
